Student Wellbeing
St James has a strong and active student wellbeing program where the value and worth of every student is nurtured.
Student wellbeing operates under the structure of a wellbeing team supported by House Deans, Homeroom Teachers, Counsellors, Cultural Liaison Officers, Campus Minister, and Student Support Officers.
The wellbeing programs are key anchor points of support and care for students, linking students, community and school together in effective partnerships. The wellbeing program is a structured program delivered within curriculum and is enhanced by retreats, camps and advocacy opportunities. The college has a strong house system with four houses: Carey, Hogan, Long and Mary Rice.
