Inspirational International Women's Day Event

An inspirational event was held at the college to celebrate International Women's Day 2022. 

Principal Ms Ann Rebgetz hosted a panel discussion with Ms Sarah Henry, Education Team Leader, Skills Tech TAFE Queensland who streamed in, TechnologyOne Senior Developer Ms Michelle Wise and Project Manager Ms Rubina Aumeer. 

Joining the conversation was college captain, Manar Abajabal, vice-captain Holly Barnes and Year 12 student Delphine Kawela. Each shared their inspiring personal story.

All the speakers had a united message to women and girls everywhere, 'follow your dreams' despite any challenges or stereotypes you may encounter along the way. #IWD2022 #BreakTheBias #JimmiesSpirit.

There were energetic performances by the college choir and cultural dance troupes that added quality entertainment for the guests.
